Where do we park if we were going to beltline? Looking at google earth I see a dirt road that leads to the river. Comes off of beltline sw side of the bridge. Is that the spot?

I would think so... never fished there before and don't know of anyone that has. Looks like a good spot though.

Been fishing there for years. The spillway is ok and the bridge has a very deep hole on the downstream side of it. A lot of snags thou. A lot of blues caught there as well as GATOR gar. Spotted gar as well. Never caught much more then that but a cpl of flatheads up by the spillway when its flooding. Used to be a lot better at the spillway but it fell apart a cpl years ago so now the water just flows over at a high rate and not much for backwater now. Good luck

Didn't make it out... I was hoping someone confirm if that area off Beltline was ok to fish or if it was private property.
