Has anybody been to Dunlap since the rain on Wednesday night? Is it a muddy mess?

Is it very muddy. Also the dam broke on McQueeney and nearly drained that lake, heard it also pulled down Dunlap. Tons of fish were seen dead. I heard they did get the dam repaired and McQueeney is filling back up, and Dunlap looks full and like chocolate milk.

Wow, that's crazy! Hope everything turns out ok! I figured it would look like chocolate milk. Thanks for the help, I appreciate it!

Dunlap,Mcqueeney, and Placid are all one big muddy, debris, mess. Placid got a lot of Mcqueeney's water. I was told that the GRA is letting out water at the Placid-Meadow Lake Dam. Lots of flooding occurred below the Mcqueeney Dam. The Bandit Golf Course got flooded along with the Logs Wood Subdivision. Spoke with a Game Warden who was on Dunlap and she stated it would take a few days for the large debris to be taken out of the lake and that all three river lakes have lots of debris in them. Looks like it will take several days for things to settle down.

There is a boat not far from my house that is sunk. Friend of mine said he saw alot of ski boats and jet skis go by and even a travel trailer. Going to have to watch when you go out untill all of the junk is cleaned up.

How did the dam break? Was Mcqueeny completely drained or did it retain enough water to keep the fish alive?
 Current Cylinder Index is 42.

We will not be holding the tournament Sunday. Too muddy, too dangerous with all the logs. We'll keep an eye on it for next week.

How did the dam break? Was Mcqueeny completely drained or did it retain enough water to keep the fish alive? A weigh in bag has enough water to keep fish alive. It didn't go down all the way. I'm sure there were a few fish lost, but the bulk just followed the receding waters to the channel.

Good deal. The queen has some good fish in it and is one of my favorite lakes to fish.
 Current Cylinder Index is 42.

Where did the rumor about McQueeney dam break start? GBRA has not issued any statements and nothing in the Seguin newspaper.
