A friend and I met up this morning to go and fish the Ft. Worth nature center all day. We had some fun and went back to his lake house on Eagle Mountain afterwards. We decided to set up the cat rods in the back yard, so we jumped on the yaks and shook the ultra light rigs around some boat houses for bait. We get back, get the cat rods all set up and are standing on the beach story swapping when one of the rods doubles over hard. I walk over and give it a hook set and holy .... After a decent fight and some help from my friend, this ends up on the beach. The one eyed monster. 22Lbs on my crappy scale. We weighed him, took some pics, and put him back in the lake to live another day. What a night. Here's Chris with the fish.
