The number of inches of annual rain on a watershed is not always a key factor determining the level of a reservoir.

What matters most is how much runoff occurs as of the result of the rain. 5 rains of 1" matter little to runoff compared with a single quick rain of 5".

Lake Limestone Tx came up about 5 feet this week after 1 rain.

I'm with Razorback, there is something going on that is not being said correctly! I have also lived 2 miles from the lake for 14 years and have seen it go down really low! With the rain we have had lately and barely coming up seems a little odd to me! I have driven out to the lake numerous times over the years after good solid rains and could see a difference. Now every time I go I just get disappointed! Something is going on, I can't say what it is, but it is! Lol! My guess is sucking a lot more water out, + the leak at the damn is way bigger than what we are being told!
