Lost 6 rods after we got swamped on Eufaula last fall. Hit it so hard it knocked the front graph off and it was just dangling by the wires. We ended up only getting one of the rods back.

Temper, it's hard to focus after them little green fish don't cooperate. Next to that pretty much your usual rod/reel combos and phones and lots of lures.

I didn't lose anything on this trip, but I caught a wallet on Tawakoni, while drift fishing. It had the boat registration card in it and I was able to get a phone number from the info. and called him. He was so surprised that he yelled at his wife to get on the other phone, he said about a year from when I caught it,they were caught in a storm and swamped his boat and almost drowned, and lost the wallet. He said it had seventy five dollars in it, I never saw the money but I mailed the wallet and contents to him in Grand Prairie.

after I fell out of my boat at Monticello one January I saw a combo sinking and thought I should grab it but my mind said no go for the trolling motor.

But when I surfaced the 35 mph wind had already blown the boat away. Turns out I kicked over two good outfits with Kistler/Curado combos when I went over. Good thing the water was warm.

Lost two pedestal seats, for whatever reason years back I used to forget and leave the back seat laying on the deck, take off and loose them off the back of the boat and never know it.

Seems like I got one back, somebody found one floating, its been so long I can't remember.

Lost a new Powell rod with a reel at Falcon 3 yrs back. Besides the reel being new too, it had 50 dollars worth of ceramic bearings. Lifted the rod back and it went over the side.

In the last month on Rayburn I have lost two Motorola earpieces for hands free, they blow out of your ear at about 65 MPH.

No telling how many hats and sunglasses I've lost.

Thanks, Billy
