dang thats a big one!
the ribbon fish are very good for king makeral. troll them puppies about 4mph on a triple hook rig and hang on. kings will tear your tackle apart. they hit at full speed and dont slow down.

Fished with a guy years ago at Shore Acres cut before they built the ship terminals. Sat on the front of the boat with 2 pounds of dead shrimp. Caught one croaker after another until I ran out of bait. None of them was less than 18". When you get into them, you can catch them until your arms fall off. Never had that luck again after they built the bulkheads.
