Take advantage of it. Go fishing on that side of the boat.

Also in the future. You can get a tupperware bowl that is tall enough to hold the bottle and glue the bottle to the bottom in the center. Then when you need to dip you pull out the whole thing pop the tops and dip as needed.

It just makes it more stable and less likely to tip or spill.

Time is all I can suggest. I use a disposable changing pad underneath the bottle to protect against possible spills. They have a plastic backing on them so if it does tip over it will not bleed through.

Have you thought about using the spray can instead of the dip.....I dyed my dads boat when I was 12 needless to say that's all that's allowed to be used in my boat and his.

I dumped about half a bottle of chartruse dye on my boat fiberglass and carpet last October. It took a few months but it is gone now. Now the shirt I was wearing when I dumped the bottle also got stained and it is still bright chartruse. It was a brand new (at the time) Underarmor long sleeve shirt. Couldn't happen to an old worn out T-shirt!

At least you didn't spill it in your partners boat.. My partner dumped half a bottle all over my seats a while back. Thankfully it's all gone now

I was told by the owner of one of the dye companies vinegar and water will take it off. I have not personally had the unfortunate act of spilling the dye so not sure if it really works.

I don't allow people to use dip and glow in my boat. I carry (and lend out) the marker instead. No spills.
