We had a great time with Brian! Learned a lot and caught some very nice fish in pretty lousy conditions.

We'll be back!

I'm not sure if "coachman" is being sarcastic or not, which is why I despise forums, but I'm pretty sure Brian would not appreciate being called a "stud" on a fishing forum and he definitely doesn't act or view himself to be that way.

What I do know is he worked very hard to treat us like royalty on both of our trips with him. He was a blast to hang out with and an excellent teaching fisherman in my opinion.

On our first trip with him this past summer the wakeboard boats were everywhere on that lake, even coming as close as 10 feet from the side of the boat. It scared my wife to see such craziness and Brian suggested we go hang out at the park till it slows down for her sake. Brian called his wife and asked if she would bring some steaks that they had marinating at home, grilling supplies, and drinks. While his wife was on her way, he taught my wife how to throw a bait caster while beached on the bank. She had been taught by myself and others for years but never grasped it. She had 2 very minor backlashes the rest of that night and another small one the second trip with Brian. When Brian's wife got there, he grilled us steaks and added over 4 hours of his time to our trip that night so that we would be satisfied.

Of course my wife ended up catching a 9 pounder at about midnight. It was the largest bass either of us has ever caught. Needless to say, when I want to go bass fishing anywhere in Texas, Brian will be my guide.
