To ease your concerns about the integrity of our tournament, we have always subjected a random sampling of the winners to a polygraph at the conclusion of the event. This is guaranteed to happen. (not an idle threat) One of the questions asked in the examination is in direct reference to the time of the contestants first cast.

Secondly, this is an amateur event. It is, and always has been, our intention to hold the safest event possible for all involved. This is why we do not conduct a morning "blast off".

Regards,
Mark

WOW! What do ya do set in the water and waller around for awhile. Lol!!! That's why you have an official there to govern the blast off, one boat at a time or how ever you the director see's as safe.

Not familiar with the lake at all. Only fished out of Westbay during pre-fish a week ago. Does anyone have directions to Twin Points. I looked at the TPWD site and I believe it is off of Ten MIle Bridge Road by the larger Marina off of Wells Burnett Rd. See you all there and good luck. Had a good pre-fish just hope the fish are still there. Coming from Denton area down I-35.

Just wanted to give everyone a quick update.

As noted earlier, the ramp at West Bay Marina is unusable at this moment. We have been told that Lakeview is still open along with a couple other private ramps. In order to make the best of this situation, we have been in contact with TRWD, who owns the Twin Points ramp, and they have agreed to assist us. So, we will be holding the Saturday morning registration at two different locations. There will be a registration table at the weigh-in site, West Bay Marina, and at the Twin Points ramp. Both registration sites will be open at 5am. We will also be holding 3pm Check-In at both sites as well. The scales will be open until 4pm, which should give everyone plenty of time to make it to the weigh-in site from wherever they may be launching. There will be instructions, distributed at registration, explaining this in detail.

I want to thank everyone in advance for working through this situation with us. In return we will do our best to make this a memorable event for you. Please join us in raising donations for a great cause, the Children of St Jude.

No, check-in is, and has always been, at 3pm. Weigh-in will open at the normal 2pm time. The only difference is that we are keeping weigh-in open until 4pm to accommodate everyone arriving from remote ramps.

Simply put, in order to weigh-in, you must check-in, at either West Bay or Twin Points, by 3pm. We will have personnel on the courtesy docks to get your boat number. Then you must be in the weigh-in line before 4pm to have your fish weighed.

It would be expected that those who check-in at West Bay, will probably beach, or tie up, somewhere in West Bay and go directly to weigh-in. But, with half of the courtesy docks on dry land, that space will be very limited. I also believe that beaching will be somewhat a pain unless you bring your muck boots.

Hope this explains it.

Looking forward to seeing everyone on the water. Don't forget, registration is being held tonight at Anglers Pro Tackle, and in the morning at West Bay Marina & Twin Points.
