I'd rather fish with you guys than with the finest folks in the land !! He knows I am one of the finest ever.. he's just not sure about the rest of you..  Dude, i think that African heat might have fried some of your brain cells...

Dude, i think that African heat might have fried some of your brain cells... Average temps is between 70-85deg daily.. thus I think the Texas heat has you delusional

So the Makaira is the hot Tuna reel now? Funny how time & the new latest and greatest gear changes. I remember when Okuma was a cuss word to a Tuna Fisherman. Guess I'm behind the Cool Gear power curve fishing with an Avet HXJ 5/2 MC Raptor

Okuma teamed with Tiburon to design the Okuma Makaira series and there was great skepticism in the beginning but they have proven reliable and become quite popular. I sure wouldn't dump any Avets especially the raptor series. I am taking a 6/0, amazingly I still catch tuna once in a while, just not in style. 
Can someone explain how the Feds count recreational Red Snapper catch?

Dude, i think that African heat might have fried some of your brain cells... I've heard that inhaling too much Rhino horn dust can do that too. If there is a Rhino in Nigeria it's in the zoo or bar b qued and no dust or pills required for this one....yet.  I guess I need Jim to take up for me since my Old Buddy Bobby wont help against these young whipper snappers?

Charlie I think we are still ok with our hx's ,I have yet to hook anything they wont bring in ! well maybe that whale shark but that was on a stella . just wait till we're on the boat and these young uns start coming down off their red bull and monster highs and we will see who has any brain cells working ! some may not know sic em from come here ! LOL
