The BPS Lazer eye poppers in Green Mac, Red Head and Bunker were good. Yozuri Mag Poppers in Purple black and Dorado were good and any brand plastic flyers in the smaller sizes. I also had several hits on a Maguroni and I boated a 50# YFT on a green back had a good one break off at the boat.

Is it an open store front or do we need to call Brice first? It would be a good idea to call Brice first. I've been by there a couple of times and haven't caught him there yet. It's 3838A and it could be a store but I haven't made it inside. There isn't a sign there. Now .... knowing that .... I am not sure what you could get from him there that you can't get at Roy's. With OTI in Corpus now Roy's shelves stay fully stocked and running over .... rods, jigs. Poppers and other topwaters, etc.

A little tease here...... I had some friends going out on a 48 hour trip and I loaned them some rods and reels. This morning I met them at the dock when they came in so I could retrieve my equipment. They fished Boomvang and Nancen. there were 12 on the trip I think and they got about 25 Yellowfins. There were four I saw that if they weren't 100 lbs they were right at it.

As you are coming through CC on Hwy 358 (the expressway) headed south once you get past the main bunch of shopping centers and malls look for the Rodd Field Road exit.Take that exit and stay on the feeder road and you will run right into Roy's. If you need the address you can Google it.

Just finished making some weighted chunk rigs to add to my premade leaders. Now I can catch those lazy tuna We did not need a weight on chunks this last trip the Tuna were up shallower but you did have to work to keep slack in your line so the chunk would fall right.

Yeah it's always a good idea to start without the weight and then go from there. Last trip I got my first one on a chunk without the weight and then we had to start weighting.

Can someone explain how the Feds count recreational Red Snapper catch?

Hey guys,
Just checking on whether or not to bring the Margarita Machine. If enough folks want it, I can bring it. Been a trip or two that it didn't get used much at all. I can change it up a bit and maybe do Hurricanes or some other flavor also. Post up what ya think.
