Great images! That looks like a creek bed. I would like to see the side scan image of that shot. I bet the creek would be easily noticeable. Which lake is this?
Thanks for posting the pics,
Tim

Ran across an old submerged bridge early Saturday morning. Looks like crappie stacked up on one side but couldn't get a bite.

Found the fished stacked up in deeper water but could only get 4 crappie to bite on jigs. Gonna go back and try some minnows next chance I get.

If you purchased your Navionics card recently you can download the Navionics PC application from their website. You can also download the Lowrance Sonar Viewer application. If you just want to do map study you can use the Navionics Web App: http://www.navionics.com/en/webapp

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Anyone got any shots with the new 899-1199??? just wondering if they were as "good" as what they are claiming compared to the "98's"

I have the same fish finder and wondering how do you turn on dual beam? When I go into the setting, it only allow me to select either 200 or 455, but when i look at your pictures you have the white and black icon which means they got picked up in different beam.

I think with Fish ID on, it should be automatic. Make sure it is set to narrow beam with fish ID on.

Studied this thread very closely since I an on getting my first FF and have quite a lot to learn. I liked how in the beginning people actually labeled what is what on the graph. That helped a lot. Keep the pics (and labeling if possible) coming.
How come I keep catching small fish when every product I buy is supposed to catch more and bigger fish?

I spent months studying the various features of each fish-finder that I had in mind. I also spent a lot of time learning how to interpret the images from watching youtube videos, talking to other owners, and consulting the dealers. Which make/model are you looking at? Maybe we can help you decide. Good luck,
Tim
