you're not giving it back that easy, Bill..... and besides those aren't snot-sticks we catch out there, they're snot-LOGS! who remembers the 52# stinking behemoth that continued my curse into a second ocean?  there are places in the world 'cuda's like that are a huge trophy. I wish they'd go there.......

Yeah and I'll tell ya what that 47# Cuda hands down pulled harder and longer than a 50# Yellow Fin I caught later on that same Maguroni. When I first hooked it up we seriously thought it was a good YFT because it took a quite a bit of 20# drag then took more drag heading down deep later during the fight and did not stop to shake it's head... just a hard steady pull. Come on Bobby you will get over whooping a 99# AJ in a couple of daze. We had 9 AJ's over 70#'s

Who can forget Quatro Tuna the Gulf Eagle crew kept like 27 of them jumbo snot sticks if I remember correctly and we had to come back in early because they were low on ice. We were not happy they took up valuable real fish box space with stinking Cudas, they thought we wanted to keep them snot stick/ logs for some odd reason

I know cuda smell bad but when we used chubs for bait in August on the deep drop and butterflied them open.... man o man... not much smells worse.
