I will be honest here I fish with and without leaders. If the water is clear leader way to go. If the water has little mirky look to it strait to the jig. I like going strait to the jig when fishing brush. Takes the weak point out of the line. +2, I like to color my line with a spike -it black marker. I tried a 10 lb flouro leader tied to a swivel, but broke off every time I got hung up, and lost one good one (probably bass). Went back to straight to the jig with marker.
