 BLACK Boat... who has one?

I'm in the market for a new Ranger and in the process of selecting my colors for the hull.
One of the things I didn't like about my old boat was it has a lot of white in the hull so water stains and marks were easily seen. I'd like a boat that does not show water lines quite so easily.
Im considering "Eclipse" (which is black with a little silver glitter) and my question is how much you guys with black boats think it shows water grime compared to other colors? The other color I'm considering is called "Scarlet Red" which has a bunch of red/glitter in it and I wonder if that will hide grime much better.
Thoughts?

I have been through about every color and I think the best was the mid toned red and blue with blue glitter . The red was a 86 stratos and the blue was a 92 stratos.

I had a black BassCat a while back and it was hard to keep clean.
It looked great when clean, but also very hot in the summer.

Mine is Black with Gold trim. show scuffs like crazy, they buff /wax out. I would go with red dirt brown lol..

Black top cap and upper sides, dark gray carpet, yellow hull. Pretty easy to keep the top cap, and upper side clean. The yellow does not show to bad and I don't clean it that often.

Had a black one and now have a red one...the black was definitely harder to keep clean, and like the OP...it was hotter in the summer for sure.

My boat is Eclipse mist and it is Beautiful. just keep it wiped down. It is easy and plus you want to do that with any new boat

It is the same as a black car. It will show dirt and water marks more if you don't keep it clean. But there is not another color that looks as nice when its shiny. My next boat will look like this.

Mine is just about all black and I really like it. Wipe it down when you get off the water and you don't have to worry about it. I just think black looks tough.
