I pitched a Berkley Havoc Craw Fatty w/ a 1/4 oz tungsten weight yesterday for hours in the 5 - 10 ft depth range and caught nothing. The only success I have had is finding what grass I can and fishing a spinnerbait close to it. If it is cloudy, a topwater but it you get too close to the grass it gets caught on the hooks. Regards, Bart

Lake is 5.77 low. After the temp drop try shallow around the trees with square bill cranks, chatters, spinners and top waters. Try a black or red trick worm in 3-8 ft around the stumps. Fish the grass, there is plenty now.
That's my plan for next week Bassin Jig! Good Luck!

Thanks for the reply BassinButch, Bartemus & Lake Fork Dave. I'll be sure to take the advise and hope for the best. I'll check in as well with Vick Lance, Larry Lovell and Rick Carter during my stay. Good fishing to you Lake Fork Dave and please leave some for my lady to hook-up with.
