Lake Fork Fiberglass. Mike does excellent work. I got rough with mine on lake Palestine and took it back to him. He got it done very quickly and I have not had a problem since. My problem was on the ridges on the bottom side of my Skeeter. Actually got stuck between 2 stumps and used the big motor to basically plow thru them. Still no leaks just scratches.

Sounds like either one will get you fixed up. Iv had mine for 4 years from Toledo Fiberglass and have had zero issues. Unbelievable product, it is bullet proof.

I gained 3 mph, i use less fuel because of the drag co-efficiency had dropped so your engine works less. Mine was 5800@ WOT...Now I'm 5300rpm @WOT. Only gained about 30 lbs extra weight.

Not sure but if there was less drag, would WOT rpm's be higher?

More drag means less rpm's???

No the engine is working less to push the boat due to a lower drag co-efficient...less drag=less rpm's.

Gorilla hull = total waste of time and money.

I find it difficult to believe that there are folks out there that somehow believe that these, basically, spray in bed linners are tougher than the gel coat/fiberglass that is their hull. If you think it will save you when you slam a stump... boy are you in for a big surprise!

The "engine is working less..." so it cost me 500 rpms is a tough one to debate...

I dunno... Reckon for everyone willing to spend it there's someone willin' to take it.....

It's not what a man knows that bothers me. It's what a man "KNOWS" that ain't necessairly so that has me conserned.

I dont have a bed liner...its a gorilla hull thats guaranteed for the life of the boat. Its my hull, money, and has paid for itself. I've hit stumps@ 55 mph, hit a friggin rock, and haven't cracked it...when i bought it the owner hit it with a hammer!... I'm sorry you think my gorilla hull was a waste. Facts are it has out performed my original hull in top end, fuel consumption, engine work load, and durability.

Maybe we could go hammer strike for strike, on each others hull. When we stop we will see the damage and the overall bill....oh wait ...MINE IS 100% covered for the life of the boat...good fishin sir.

I have had Mike at Lake Fork Fiberglass put Gator hulls on 2 different boats, a Champion and a Basscat and I assure you they are not "basically a spray on bed liner". Both boats are still running and have "slammed" a lot of stumps with no damage. Stop by Lake Fork Fiberglass and Mike will show you what they consist of. I am sure you will then retract your statement.
