Does anyone know of a good line counter that is stout and not flimsy plastic [censored] like Berkley puts out? The Line counters available are mainly made for trolling in fresh water so they are not very heavy duty. Bass Pro Shops and Rapala have them that are a little better quality. The majority of us use marked line that has a color change printed on the line so you can count down how deep you are fishing.

Can someone explain how the Feds count recreational Red Snapper catch?

you guys be careful smoking that kingfish I hear It can lead to the bad stuff ! next thing we know you'll be on hardheads and scouring the trash cans at the cleaning station for your next fix !!

I've smoked worse.................. No, Seriously. tried to smoke mushrooms once. All it did was slime up my pit, tasted horrible! Besides, I was more worried about Bill being able to get pregnant......

I made some of Bill's smoked tuna spread recipe and took it up to a local watering hole one evening on a "bring a dish" night. Everybody loved it and wanted the recipe. One of my friends there that fishes a lot smoked some AJ and made it and said it was delicious. Good stuff ....

I would like to try some smoked kingfish. I kept a couple 15 years ago and have released them since as I didn't find them very tastey. In the last two years I started smoking to long frozen tuna and it's good. Wonder if the smoking would make kings more attractive to me.

King fish is great when cooked with mesquite chips on a grill. I don't see why it would not be good smoked as well.
