They should just save time and announce that they are going to be in every body of water and there is no stopping it.

Then they need to just get busy retrofitting the water pipes.

In the mean time, we should all get proficient with a drop shot on 6# or lighter line.

I hear the goat man of Lake Worth eats them on the half shell.

I recently fished a couple of KS lakes that have zebra mussels. You have to check your line every few cast and re-tie often when using a shaky head or Texas rig. Those little boogers are just like razors on the edge.

TPWD is flexing their muscles in dealing with the zebra mussels.

That is just really what Belton needs. I like that lake a lot.

On channel 5 news today they said at Lynn Creek Marina on Joe Pool they may start requiring a certificate saying your boat was cleaned before you can launch.

Too bad sand bass didn't eat them!

Hopefully they discover a way to kill or control them, if not the TPW, the water districts... probably way more concerning to the water districts.

FWIW They are great for the catfish population. Never seen fatter catfish with guts full of those things than on the Arkansas river after they arrived.

Wait a minute, if catfish eat them, then there's the predator they have been searching for, right?

Blue catfish will eat them to the exclusion of most other food items, especially in summer. As will redear sunfish. Freshwater drum also eat them. They do have native predators.
