ok i will say it... its going to be a FUNtastic time... Silly mayan ..... FOODBesides bacon wrapped dove breasts anybody bringing anything? I know we decided in the past that since our eating schedules and habits don't coincide on these trips there's no reason to plan big but it seems like we could do a meal or two. I'd be willing to pitch in. Maybe grill up an evening or afternoon "kickoff" meal the first day or something for the ride home.

trolling question.
I only have a 6/0 wide for trolling. Anyone recommend a small something to troll already rigged for wahoo?
If we are going to do the meal thing, I can have some more tamales made. I really don't care either way, I tend to sleep through most group meals. Including swordfish sashimi, that I am sad I missed. I got into some Cap Russell grilled and that was some of the best fish I have ever had.

Since we tend to have different eating schedules on these trips it might be a good idea to first determine which meals we want to have as a group and go from there. We don't normally start tuna fishing seriously until about 5 - 6 PM the first day so I personally would lean more toward a good evening meal before a long hard night of fishing than I would a breakfast on the way out. Maybe burgers, sausages or something on the grill. I could pick up one of those precooked briskets they sell at HEB .... are they any good? We been doing Jim's pork on the way in and that has worked well so I assume that won't change. We could eat on our own all the meals in between. Wha'cha think?

I like Bobby's plan
I'd bet those tamales would be excellent for breakfast!
