I like the tunatamer plan also. Let me know on the tamales, they come a dozen at at time. I am not good at figuring amounts for large groups. 6 dozen is three per person

Can someone explain how the Feds count recreational Red Snapper catch?

these are the 6 1/2 inches
probably should go 9 inches they weigh 2 ounces
Still I wonder how the East Coast guys cast them far enough?

For trolling the speeds we are making on the way out I like the tremblers. Black, Purple or Pink. Just add 6' - 9' of good wire.

If we are trolling at the rig it will be a little slower so these work real well. Big lipped plugs .... Stretch 30's, etc. You will need wire for these also.

Another good one but will require some rigging is an Ilander with a BooHoo.

I've used the RonZ 10" 2.5 Oz. BTW for food, I'll bring ADOBO with plates plus spoon and forks.

ABODO....something new to me, sounds good. Is it always chicken? Or are other meats used?

Thanks tunatamer, that helps.

Magaroni manufacture stopped a couple years ago. I don't know why, but some guys here probably do. OTI is going to offer them again. Via email through the OTI site, I was told they hoped to have them available in the next couple months and that was last week. A small chance we will be able to pick some up at the OTI store before our trip. The store has moved to Corpus and is not far from Roy's
http://oceantackle.net/
There is a magaroni link on their homepage.
I have caught yellows on the charkbait version toro tamer subsurface swimmer, but reviews for them have not been as good as the magaroni asto action and getting them to swim properly. Last trip I took (diez tuna) I caught 3 good yellow on the toro tamer and will use them this trip as well. I also caught several good size bft on one as well.

Thanks I will check out Charkbait's Toro Tamer bait too then. I would not mind getting 4 or 5 Magaronis if they have them down south.

Charlie .... I'll stop in at OTI and talk to Brice to see if he's got them coming.

In the meantime it looks like they have the green at Tackle Direct but the blue is backordered.
