I hate like hell that this is going on up there and so many of you have been pillaged by dope heads, but it begs the question.
Why has this problem been allowed to continue for as long as it has???? These Lake Fork thievery threads come up way too often, I believe about a year or so ago this would come up several times a week. Why cant either law enforcement or the stores/marinas get a grip on this problem? I have a hard time believing this couldn't be put to a grinding halt if there was some sort of cooperation from the authorities up there. easier said then done

The more I hear this the more I'm starting to believe its not a meth head doing all the stealing. Probably a guy that's lived in the neighborhood a long time and knows his way around.

Had my truck broke into at the ramp at Rainswood a couple years ago only thing missing was a John Deere cap.

I agree, methheads would get caught a little quicker because their methheads. I am not going to guess at who some of these people are but one of these days one of these folks will get caught s and people may be suprised.

Alot of those breakins goes way back to the way kids are brought up these days .Parents don't teach kids right from wrong at a young age.They don't spend quality time.Times have changed.Very sad times.

Camera is mounted at the restaurant facing the boat ramp; poor view. No cameras at the boat ramp. Whats weird is the same guy that lives at the boat ramp area was standing at the ramp Friday and Saturday when I came off the lake. I had a few words with him and stated my truck door handle was pulled out and that someone had tried to break in. He looks at the door handle and says its just broken. It was very obvious that that the key hole was damaged and the door handle broken inside the door. He also says he is from Houston and would see it all the time there. I have a feeling it is some one local.

Get a sticker on the window that says "smile, you're on camera". Even if you don't have one in the vehicle.  yep that work now you just gave a reason for them to break in your truck  Why not just put sticker in the window says 100 dollars in the glove box

I'm a real cop and will be up there next weekend guys. I have an rv right behind minnow bucket and not fishing the tourney. I'll do my absolute best to keep an eye on things for you.
Nothing pisses me off more than a #{^*]}%^} thief!

Y'all stay safe if u decide to take deadly force on one of the methheads please make sure u don't shoot an innocent person easy to get carried away when someone is stealing ur stuff but safety should be first

Sounds like the BIG & MIGHTY McDonalds folks need to step up and hire guards for ramps.....I'm sure they could afford to support those that have supported them so well for soooo long.
