i was in class. i was a sophmore in high school. we were watching live when the second plane hit. not long after a muslim kid that i had known since elementry school was running down the halls and into each class room chanting "down with america, down with america" i went after him but was stoped by the teacher. i herd a few years later the fbi raided that kids house and found a bunch of ak47's along with alot of other things. he is now in prison. i will never forget that day.

I was working for Enron in their #2 Building. The 1st 3 floors are Trader floors( Energy Trading/Buying. 200+ Flat Screen monitors everywhere broadcasting Bloomberg, CNN, Fox News,etc) I just happened to be trouble shooting a problem with on of their Turret Phones and all of a sudden, all of those monitors switched to the World Trade Center getting demolished.

People were crying, upset, and within 15 min.the building was evacuated. As I arrived on the ground floor, there were 4 Security Guards securing the perimeter of the building. It was so surreal, like Nuclear Fallout or something.I called my Ex-Wife(Could not call sooner)and she was heading to get the Kids... I WILL NEVER FORGET. God Bless AMERICA!

Sophmore in college. I went go to school on MWF so I was off on Tuesday. I just got done killing and cleaning a limit of doves. I fixed some breakfast, sat down and turned the TV on. My dad had it on CNN and I was just about to change the channel, but I heard them talking about a plane crash in NY. I watched for a minute of two and as stated above, watched the 2nd plane live. I spent the rest of the day glued to the TV in complete anger, disbelief, and compassion all at the same time.

I was working for American Eagle airlines. I was asleep that morn cause I worked the evening shift. My wife called from work and told me to turn on the tv cause something was going on. Watched the second plane hit. Couple of hours later I got a call from the airlines and they told me not to come in until they called us in. I never went back to work for them.

I was working at the ARC blood center. Collecting blood to be shipped to the east coast for survivors.

I was in 5th grade in school. They mentioned it over the intercoms and then we turned on the TV. Very sad.

I was at work listening to the radio talking about the "accident" at the World trade Center with the first plane. Then the second plane hit and we knew there was no accident. We were watching on TV when the towers fell. Never forget America or you will regret it.

I was at work with one ear listening to the radio and the other on the cell phone talking to my wife and sharing info she conveyed as she watched everything play out on the news. I was so pissed at what happened that day. Never forget.

Working about 10 miles away.

In my 5th grade class watching it live as friends were leaving to go home to their families. Here I am 12 years later in the Air Force watching my friends go do work! 'Merica

I was at work, listening to the radio, heard what was going on, a bunch of us went into the owners office turned on the TV and watched the whole thing, needless to say not a lot work got done that day.

Side note here: First gun show after that happened I spent 2500.00 on new weapons and ammo

At work, Naval Air Station JRB Fort Worth until second attack. Then ALL civilians were ordered off the base and not to return to work until ???. Week later, we were called back to work.
Watched the first attack on TV in our training class room. Then heard and watched 2nd attack.
Thats when the CO (Commanding Officer - USN Navy Captain) locked down the base.
We all thought we were seriously under attack.

heading back to the terminal to get back in the semi, a lot of things changed the next two days. I had hazmat on my cdl and the rules got extremely strict within a week, lots of scrutiny on the road and inspections at dam near every weigh station.
I did notice a severe lack of "foreign" drivers within a week too, no more turbans behind the wheel.

Had my wisdom teeth pulled the day before. I was laying in my bed, watching after the first plane hit. I was 17 years old. ?After the second plane hit I ran to the living room and watched with my mom for the rest of the day as the events unfolded.

I took the day off of work. I had just backed my new boat down the ramp at lake Wylie (South Carolina). I was standing on the trailer when my phone rang. My wife told me the what was going on and told me to get to the office. The next day I drove the NYC. I spend the next 11 weeks living in a hotel right across the river from the WTC. I remember it like it was yesterday. I still think about it all of the time.
