At the ramp I/We wipe it down with a Stay wet Chamois to get the scum etc off. Then in the garage I use Meguiars Quick Detailer on everything. Thats done after every and I mean
EVERY trip.

Noticed the bass don't bite as good after I wax or polish the boat. I think the sense of the wax/polish repels them.. seems the more dirty and smelly it gets, the better they bite.. thumb

Wipe it off after it's on the trailer. Wipe on Lucas slick mist after I get home.

Nothing will make it shine like pledge lemon furniture polish.

Lemon Pledge: Cleans and leaves a smooth shine on the boat. Picked this up at the Bass Master Classic.

I'm no chemist but my uncle used to use Pledge to clean his boat and after 10 years his gel coat was gone. This is a boat that has always been covered and out of the sun except for when it was on the water. Unless Ranger just had a bad gel coat process back then?

A good coat of boat wax and a wipe down in the parking lot with a towel. Heard that furniture polish works great too. I was using carnuba based automobile polish like Mequier's, pretty much makes the hull bullet proof when it comes to preventing stump scratches and keeping scum from sticking. I usually wax every 3 months, more often with higher usage....wash and or vacuum the carpet after every use and use vinegar Windex on windshields and Armour All or an equivalent on all vinyl, trailer gets waxed too if it is painted. Wheels and tires get the full treatment as well. After I am done I roll it back in the garage and charge the batteries, when that is done the cover goes on until its time to hit the water again. My rigs always bring premium dollars when I sell them because they are nicer than most new rigs......

Get you some "Hot Sauce" from Boat Bling. I have tried other brands and the Hot Sauce is by far the best that I have used to get the water spots off. Just got BoatBling.net and give them a try.
