If you or anyone wants it I have a 70lb. Minn Kota with a new Ipilot on it (still under warranty), all works great, mount, all wiring and accessories. 52 inch shaft. I moved up to the 101 lb. $600.00 takes it and its all MINT and works PERFECT. PM or text me, 214-803-4025.

agree w/ what others said, best money spent on fishing. I have a 22' cc and have the 80lb, works just fine for me but i'm sure bigger is better sarcastic

I got the 80 pound and it works fine for a bass boat. I can get over 3 mph on rabbit --LOL--. The biggest thing to consider is make sure you get the 60 inch shaft so the motor will stay in the water on windy days. I have had mine in 4 footers and the prop never comes out of the water.

I've never had one for my bass boats, bought a bay boat and that's the 1st thing I ordered to upgrade!

The horsepower of one's outboard, should never exceed one's IQ.

Therefore, I'm the proud owner of a 60HP Merc!

I just got a new 2110 Nautic star cc with a 80 lb 24v riptide. Is this enough trolling motor if I add ipilot fir dpor lock in particular or should I replace with a bigger unit?

I have a 21' bay boat and have an 80# 24 V Terrova it holds up great but the extra speed and endurance of the 101-36V would come in handy on windy days. Use what you have and see how it goes, if it ain't broke don't fix it.

It ain't easy making it look easy.

Best way I can explain it is this:

An i-pilot is like having a deck hand on the boat the entire time i'm fishing.

I have the 55lb Powerdrive V2 w/48in shaft on my 16' aluminum boat and its perfect. I get about 3mph on "rabbit speed". Aside from my DSI units, its hands down the best piece of tech on my wagon.

Side note- if you want to have a bow mounted graph, make sure to get the Terrarova with built in transducer, otherwise it takes a little jackwagging to make it work.

Another happy customer of David @ Shut-up-and-fish. I wouldn't buy my electrothingamajiggers from anyone else!

All of the kudos given the iPilot are right on. It is the best trolling motor in terms of functionality I have ever owned.

BUT...I have had mine one year and it has been in the repair shop all summer (two whole months). It started responding sporadically to remote commands and would not work at all from the rear of my 19'6" boat. A new remote was ordered by repair shop..took 4 weeks to get it. That did not fix the problem. Dismounted unit and took it back. Repair shop ordered a new control head 3 and 1/2 weeks ago. Still has not arrived.

Southern by the grace of God.
