How about the vexilar flashers? Anyone ever used them? Yes the Vexilar flasher is what I used on Lake Amistad during the Deep Grass hay days. It will red dot (flash) those big fish right through the grass. I had been fishing miles and miles of grass to find the sweet spots. Once I got that unit the folding chair went up front and I never had to fish and search the grass again. All I had to do was troll around over the grass and mark the spots on the GPS sitting beside the Vexilar. Then on tournament day I could pick the Big Bass off one at a time with the heavy dropshot rig and Hoo Daddy Jr.

I saw that photo and flasher yesterday on the net, had to smile and thought what a great tool for suoer shallow water. I still have a Lowrance 2330 I rigged on my 87 Cajun Rickey Green Fishin' Machine I saved it when I sold the boat way back. Fritts has had my respect for many years, Carolina folks are great fishermen and mighty fine people.
When in doubt set the hook..Retie often
