Usually wherever I can get it. I was very impressed with APT, but it's too far to be convenient. I usually end up shopping at academy or Walmart.

Have any of you compared prices between APT and TW and Brannans? Brannans has them beat on nearly everything. You might want to compare. Also the shipping is the same price also. Every little bit helps these days when it comes to cost cause fuel prices are making it tough. Also the web site has sales on it real regular.

The more I go to APT, the less I go anywhere else. Park 20' from the door, good prices, they have the new stuff sometimes before TW does, and the staff are good people. Hard to beat if you're in the metro-mess!!!!

Academy, Bass Pro, Cabela's, Anglers Pro Tackle, Olsen's, Gander Mountian.
I don't shop for tackle on-line because I believe that it hurts the local tackle shops. Even though I shop at the big box stores they still employ local people and have the items I want without having to wait for them to arrive.
Everyone complains that you can't get this or that locally or how you can save $2 and get free shipping if you go to this or that.com. If your local tackle shop doesn't carry an item your looking for maybe talk to the store manager and see if they can get it in stock. In the long run the local tackle shops will become a thing of the past if you don't shop there. Then where will we go when we need that magic bait on Friday afternoon prior to our tournament.
Shop local and support your local economy.
Rant over, thanks for listening.

About once a year I place one big order from Tackle Warehouse. This is when I purchase hooks, weights, line and the common lures.
When I think I need something else, I try to buy it at a local tackle store. Lake Fork is very impressive in the number of local stores that have an awesome selection of tackle. Oakridge will get a little of my tackle money this weekend I'm sure!

Rant over, thanks for listening. I + 10 on this, also it gives me the opportunity to go see feel & touch, & gets me out of the house and talk to people, and I might learn something and it's more fun.
