All state parks for $70 a year
$5 at Highport
$35 a year at Stewart Creek
Free at Bridgeport,Hubbard Creek and Soldier Creek

One reason I stopped fishing EM is I got tired of paying too much money for a trashy ramp and parking in a mud hole when it does rain.

I didn't realize Chandler's had an annual plan. $250 a year is pretty appalling. I stopped going to RH because of the high launch fees. I go to Tawakoni and launch at 276 west for free. Saves me $15 a trip.

I guess if you live in Rockwall and enjoy fishing Ray Hubbard, they know they can probably get $250 from you because Chandler's and Harbor Bay are the only safe places to launch. But golly gee willaker that's a lot of money just to launch your boat.

I am willing to bet that Doug uses that ramp at least 125 times a year. That is a measly $2 per launch!!

Yeah it's not a bad deal at all if you launch all the time. I am more upset about their daily fees. $15 is nuts. $250 is well worth it if you're there all the time.

$15 to launch is a BARGAIN! After living here, I'll never complain about launch fees and lake regulations. You have so many great options to fish there in Texas. Closest lake to launch free is 6 hours away across state lines.

Castaic Lake is closer, that's only $24 a day to launch and $270 a year for annual.

Fish both lakes unlimited for ONLY $720.00 a year! And these lakes open AFTER sunrise and close BEFORE sundown.

All that IF your boat is completely clean and dry AND passes inspection.

I remember when diamond valley wasn't even a lake yet, I use to drive past castaic up to casitas to fish. Some crazy regs in CA

Brett, DVL is young, must be interesting seeing after they filled it up. Casitas (r.i.p.) use to be the trophy haven! How do you like TX compared to CA fishing?
