What are some good rods that have a fast tip with a good backbone to swing them in, for a price $200.00 and less? I own 6 Falcons and ready to add a few to my line of rods. Thanks TFF!

I've been looking at Omens, Kistler, and Dobyns. But I will look into the Denali series. Thanks Elite1cal

The omen outshines the Denali hands down. I love my omen and am switching to all them and lews slowly but surely. If you like the falcons why not just get a new one? Find a rod and reel you like and stick with them. That way the over all feel when switching rods is the same weather you're cranking or throwing a jig deep. The weight and balance will be more comfortable for you. My only flaw with the omen is that the handle length is the same on a 7'm rod as it is say a 7'6 h I wish it was longer but the rod still feels good is very sensitive for a $99.00. Halo also makes an amazing rod check them out.

I am kind of a strange case. I have $400 rods and i have $80 Academy h2o rods . Some of the rods in the $100 to $200 range are awrsome. Quantum custom shop rods, 13 fishing omens, Castaway Skeletons, Daiwa has a number of rods in that price. Just depends on what you want. So many great choices.

I dont think i will ever give over$200 again for a rod.

Don't get me wrong I love my Falcons but always wanted to try a new rod for fun. I've been fishing with Falcons for almost a year but seeing all these new rods coming out makes me want to out a few. But Falcons will always be in kayak.

I fished a couple days with Gave Bolivar & he is sponsored by I-rods (sold on Tackle Warehouse). They have a $150.00 price point & a $250.00 price point & both are VERY good rods for the money. The $150.00 rods fished much better than my TFO Tactical & the $250.00 rods were very comparable to my GLX rods.

Drop me a PM if your interested in purchasing one & I'll get in touch with Gabe to see what his price would be for each rod. I can't remember exactly but it was quite a bit cheaper than Tackle Warehouse.
