Is the correct conjugation expanderis? Anyway, no spawning activities were noticed on my part!
Those fresh dead baby shad came at a cost. Imagine if you will a peaceful and mild summer morning with the sun breaking the horizon, the occasional sound of a fish breaking the surface nearby and a dog barking in the distance. I was enjoying the tranquility of an early morning fishing adventure with hushed voices and calm waters. Now imagine the explosions of a landing net thrust violently in the water followed by WOOHOO! Got em!
Those poor shad never knew what hit them. The crappie didn't seem to mind though. They feasted on those little dead shad with reckless abandon and ended up on ice. It was another memorable trip to say the least. I almost ended up in the water more than once!

Have not seen anyone scale fish in a long time. I did a while back to using a filet knife. Some thought I was crazy for eating the skin but that was how my dad did when I was a kid. Very nice catch guys.
