I can guarantee we'll have more than 4 boats. If just our own club members showed up we'd do way better than that.

Nothing is ever guaranteed and I know people say they are coming or interested but don't show up, but in the last few days alone I have had guys from Gilmer, Mt. Pleasant, Jefferson, Carthage, and Center call me to tell me they are planning to fish these and get details. They tell me they have buddies or other bass club members who are interested, too. We've had well over 2,000 views of these posts in this thread so at least people know about the tournaments. I've personally distributed hundreds of flyers across East Texas.

I'll be surprised if we don't have a good turnout. But hey, if we didn't it would be pretty easy money taking a combined $800 bonus for winning Angler of the Year and big bass of the series against only a few guys. LOL.

We will have instructions at sign-in Saturday morning about the check-in process for weigh-in. Nothing too complicated, just how we will be sure everyone is back at the Johnson Creek ramp by 3 p.m. to avoid disqualification.

Weekender (Jody) and I will be at the covered pavilion at Johnson by 5:15 Saturday morning, probably a little earlier, to get everyone registered and livewells checked so that those who want to trailer can leave to go to their ramps.

Remember...$50 CASH ONLY and only one person in each boat.

Series Starts Saturday on Lake of the Pines, Johnson Creek Ramp. We will be there around 5:15am or so and I plan to stay close to the ramp all day. I will be more than happy to keep an eye on all the trucks / trailers while you fish (If you use the Johnson Creek Ramp as trailering is allowed)

Okay, maybe that last part was an exaggeration.

It looks like things are working out just right for us. We're getting a good rain today that should taper off or end before the tournament, then a cooler day tomorrow.

People continue to call me saying they will be there, so it looks like we'll have a good turnout and a nice payday for whoever can bring in a good bag of fish.

Remember...we're not only going to pay back 90% at the ramp tomorrow and at every tournament, but after the last tournament at Martin Creek in December we're also going to pay the following bonuses:

$500 to whoever weighs the most pounds in the series
$300 to the second place finisher for most pounds in the series
$300 to whoever weighs the big bass of the series

There will be other bonuses as well.
