The good thing about Vicious is that you will get a LOT of practice tying and retying knots.

I fish it, I dont go any lighter than 15. The 13 will break if you look at it funny. The 15 and up is fine. Spent three days at Falcon killing them on 15 and 20, never broker one off and had several see saw in the brush.
I would not trust 13 or less. Also, if you get any line burn when tying the knot, do it again, it will break.

I too use the Vicious Pro Elite. DO NOT use the regular Vicious.

Been using regular vicious 17 lb for last 4 years prolly also use the 12 and 10 for cranking and shaky heads. Works great for me, got ahold of one bad spool of 15 lb one time. Caught plenty of big fish with 17. I respool about once a month and believe in it.

Used 12 pound on Fork for shaky head rig only one time. Would break on the hook set. I would not recommend.

The good thing about Vicious is that you will get a LOT of practice tying and retying knots. Remember that box full of about 20 spools I sent you? Vanish has much better handling characteristics than the original Vicious. But Vicious is a bit stronger. They're both JUNK, though.
Coincidence is His way of remaining anonymous.
