any one ever have experience with the Falcon Expert? I have one the owner of Falcon Rods gave me. They are great if you can find some of the original ones from from like '05 era. They changed up the blank about the time the Cara T7 line came out. The new Experts where not as good or worth the price and lost favor and the line was dropped a few year later. I was in the Falcon offices last week and they offered to buy it back when they found out I still had one of them.

This is what the newer version blank looked like. It has a carbon fiber look to the blank. If you find one that looks more like the Original or Cara blank then I would grab it.

I found an 05 model. Just never heard of the model. What model? I have the 6'10" MH "Pitchin" rod. It's great. Similar to a Head Turner but little more backbone like a Amistad.

You can also use the 7'2" MH Cara Swim Jig rod for Texas rig and the 7'0" H Expert which is no longer on the market. I prefer the Expert better.

Falcon is obviously the most popular and best all around stick when compared to Duckett. Question - Then why buy a chinese product especially when so many of the American brands have sold out or outsourced for cheeeep labor ?
Falcon Rods get my vote & $$$

Falcon, I doubt you'll ever see a Duckett rod still hauling in bass at nearly 20 years old. I love my ducketts. but this is sooooo true! My wife caught this ( http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbt...ork#Post9416892) using a Falcon FS-UL-15 Ultra Lite action, 1/32 to 1/16 ounce, line weight 2-6 Lbs that was purchased probably earlier than 1994. She has caught Striper on that rod too. Nothing has ever gone wrong with it. I think I'm gonna start jigin' with it!
