This morning I tried to scout out some areas not mentioned on here before, that looked promising on Google Maps. Most of the spots I found were private property roads and got the answer to my previous question, you cannot launch from East 820 and Randol Mill Rd, without some Serious work.
All my areas failed, so I ended up checking this out.
Trinity at the dam just east of Beach Street-Gateway Park. You'll have to carry your kayak and gear up and down the steps.
Three words... Gar, Carp, and more Gar! Caught several small bass, but there were some big Gar and ALOT of carp, both white and black.
