 BEST season on Lake Fork!?!

This season seems to be the best bite we have had on Lake Fork in over 10 years... Anyone else agree? The spring bite was killer, and the summer time fishing seems to keep improving when it is usually getting a bit slower this time of year. I guess these fish are finally used to the low water and less grass. I can't wait to see how well these fish bite this fall/winter!
For those of you who are interested in night fishing, I am offering some 5 hr evening/night trips this Aug-Sept. We will fish the last hour of sunlight then get after them in the dark!  I loved last year because of the sharalunker,This year has been pretty good I lost a good one at the boat would've been nice to have caught and see here how big she actually was or a net man that day.

I know that I have had the best days I've ever had on Fork this year. I do still kick myself for not coming back in the 90's.

Looking forward to November around the new moon.
The morning will be peaceful & quiet as I twitch a spook along the outside of a grass bed that's silhouetted by straggling timber. As the fog lifts and the sun starts trying to burn it's way to the tops of the timber inside the grass line, POW!! My drain plug pops out & I sink to the bottom...

It seems like last year for 2-3 weeks in December the fish started feeding really well! Not many people knew about the bite since they don't expect winter fishing to be very good, but it was AWESOME!!!! There were very few boats on the water...compared to normal...and all were catching heavy fish!
