I spoke with the owner, they had been out for about 3 hours prior to docking there. They went I grab some grub and came back to the boat under water. We had the same thing happen not long ago, our plug fell out while we were working, luckily we were able to get the boat on plane and evacuated most of the water before having to take a swim.

Hate that when the plug falls out...... Been around boats my whole life and never seen one come out. Have seen thru-hull plastic fittings for bilge pumps, and livewell drains break off right flush with the transom, thats a fun one to figure out on the water.

Last Sat a.m. driving over R.H. I-30 bridge, saw what looked like top 1/3 of a boat above water floating straight up. Color was yellow, and was maybe 1/4 mile SW of bridge.
Anybody know the story?

Last summer we had to tie up my friend's MC pretty much where that photo was taken and ride out a storm. If it was really windy, or they didn't take precautions to keep their boat off the dock... who knows... stranger things have happened. I thought the boat that pulled in next to us was going to get torn to pieces because they tied up on the other side and got slammed into the dock every few seconds.
Fish on hook! Reel him in, slowly.

gotta love boat entertainment!!! +1 Me & fishin partner have always said that instead of fishing on major holidays - go to a busy ramp early with lawn chairs.

I had one get knocked off by a stump at Fork when the wind picked up...I was about 5 miles from our ramp. Got it on plane and got back without any issue and consider myself fortunate.
The only reason I knew it so quickly was that I hit another stump with the trolling motor and kicked the circuit breaker and had to open the hatch and saw daylight at the plug hole. Otherwise could have had a much less happy ending.
