Same thing today. Left them biting. Today was another MAGNUM sandie day. Clients were reeling in 12-16 inchers two at a time. Landed 200 plus solid fish today. They were very agressive as soon as the sun hit the water they were busting shad on top. Fun day as usual.

I saw Plano Keith catch a few dinks to feed his wabbit.

Does this help?----> Click here for screen shot side scan tutorial.

I'll get some 2D screen shots tomorrow.

Sometimes there's 50-100 people at the seminars and sometimes there's 10-20. Get there early if u need a seat.

Nice job Carey. I saw you coming off the water today with some happy customers! I missed seeing Keith out on the water but he might have been in his stealth mode. His boat goes so fast that you miss him if you blink.

Remember, a lot of us have marine band radios. We r on channel 78. Fish are way easier to find when peeps work together, and has been fun and productive.

Greats reports Carey! I was just curious, I don't see many, or really no
Pics of hybrid. Are there any in lavon? Or has it just thinned out so much you just very seldom run across them.

Thanks
Mike

A couple weeks ago, we were fishing a school of Sandies and we were nailing 14-16 inch Sandies. I tied on a cocaho white w/ red tail and started to catch only mags. Then the hybrid picked it up. They have not stocked hybrids since 1978 and decided by electro shock, that they were not making it. -I think they were shocking the wrong part of the lake that day. This hybrid looked just as healthy and fat as a stuck up Hubbard Hybrid. slinger

The last 4 trip out there I have seen pure strain Stripers pop some gizzards right next to the boat. A week ago a buddy and I saw another hybrid chasing a gizzard shad for about 20 seconds. Came clear out of the water chasing the shad. I'm not a biologist, but, I am pretty sure we could sustain a population of hybrids. The Striper are the right size for when they were last stocked. 22-24 inches and FAT. The lake will turn over soon so I'm sure some of the Striper will get caught again and float up. It's going to be windy tomorrow so I have decided to go solo and free line some gizzards the am. So we will see how that goes. I'll try and do a video of my graph, gear, rigging, and what I'm looking for. Wind permitting.
