All snakes are instinct driven, coexistence with humans is not nor will ever be part of their simple lives.
Why to people have to kill everything they do not understand ?

This rattlesnake is a massasauga. There is a genetic study being performed on this species and Foard County would be an important specimen. These aggies would drool on themselves to get one from out there.

I can assure you there is more to it than cutting it up and putting specimens in jars. It's a genetic study to see whether there is gene flow between populations and how fragmentation of the landscape could be affecting the populations.

They have to put something(justification) on the books to filter the other misuse of grant funding.
Price/Russo where masters of it

strongly disagree with the part that says leave them alone and they leave you alone. I was standing on a river bank in Abilene fishing and I looked down and had a cottonmouth coiled up around my ankle. I was leaving him alone. I can assure you he didn't leave me alone.
