I have eaten a lot of both. Both fish are super good. I would have to pick the Crappie as being the best.

We don't allow our members to keep Bluegill so I hope Crappie wins! Bluegill are the forage backbone of private lakes, without them our beloved bass would not survive. Take all the crappie, leave the bluegill to feed the bass! I eat the beloved bass, too. lol

Bream for me, Crappie second since we don't have Walleye in the lakes I fish.
To me, bream are a little more rich and sweeter in flavor than crappie.

not much difference , crappie fillets tend to be bigger.
I would guess that the same size fillets in a taste test would
be same , same.

It's a draw. I like fish so well that I can eat it two three times a week no problem. Good Stuff!!
