I let it fall. When hits the bottom I pick up on my rod (to get off the bottom) then let it sink again. Letting the bait just fall once doesn't seem like you are using the bait to its full potential.

I tend to fish a wacky worm in shallowbrush and timber. Then tx rig everywhere else. Same here. I may try wacky on other stuff here or there but mainly when I want that slow vertical fall. Probably not utilizing it enough but I fish to fast anyway.

The only reason I let it fall once before reeling it in and making another cast is because I do not use this lure as a search bait at all. I only use it when I KNOW a bass is in a specific area. Its the furthest from a search bait in my arsenal. So lifting my rod tip to let it fall a second time would really be no different than reeling it in and casting to another likely spot nearby. Reeling in a senko gives it no appeal to bass, the whole lure works on the fall. But people do have their preferences. If I'm gonna bounce a worm looking for a bite though, I'm just gonna t-rig a power worm. Senkos are for that sure-bite for me.

I fish senkos weightless, t-rig almost all the time. I try to force myself to wacky when the bite gets tough. I think wacky rigging presents a more natural style, as I've seen my friends fish it effectively.
