I grew up fishing this lake with my dad but these past few years(2yrs) I haven't been fishing. I just started going to lake every weekend but doing some shore fishing. To make a long story short, I was wondering where would be an ideal area to fish this lake. I haven't caught anything but lots of perch(tx type perch) and a few bass and only two freshwater drum. To me the lake is either fished out or the fish have all gone very deep. I haven't had so many days of not catching anything in my life. I need ideas on how to fish this lake. Fishing for catfish is what I do most besides bass fishing so any info that can help me land some personal record best catch would mean a lot. Thanks!

I don't know about fishing but the port-a potties are horrible. Most people do their graffiti with spray paint,It was done with human waste.

On the lighter side .I did talk to the locals, and they said most happens to the right branch arm of the lake.

Bank fishing To the right? Or in a boat all the way on right side of the lake where it parts in two?

Yes, boating to the right arm area seems to work best. I've seen trucks drive down to lake on the left arm across the cove from plant. I don't know how?

The dam can be good at times.

Yeah, this is one but only seen the Game Warden use that boat ramp.

Go get them. Cabelas has some fished tagged in that lake that are worth 2 million dollars if you catch one.
