Heard the frog bite has been ON up in the creeks on the north end. At the edges of the hydrilla.

My Dad and I went a couple weekends ago and caught some good size bass on the dam with lft hyper sticks and 8" Fork worms in blue bruiser at night. Also caught some nice 5 lbers in lighted boat slips flipping a lft hyper freak and a black power worm.

Those fish were there 2-4 weeks ago, and moved. Fished the dam half a day with one 2 pounder to show for our efforts. Kinda made me want to puke.

Ignore anything R.M. has to say - EVER. There is a Ray Hubbard Bass Club tournament this Saturday so some of your best sources might be a little quiet right now. This site will give you updated ramp information:
http://www.swf-wc.usace.army.mil/lavon/

Report at present:
Highland Park is closed due to low lake levels.
Bratonia Park is closed due to low lake levels.
Twin Groves Park is closed due to low lake levels.
Caddo Park is closed until further notice.
Brockdale boat ramp is closed due to low lake levels.

If you need further information, please call Lavon Lake HQ at (972)442-3141.

Find some shallow timber close to deeper water and pitch jigs and plastics.

Fish seemed to have moved up shallow probably because the water is pretty dirt

R.M. said a couple weeks ago the hydrilla was still in the deep spots and to use pink bubble gum worms with 4 lb line on a drop shot, I think. I have been 4 times and am still looking for those deep grass beds and have gone through three packs of pink bubble gum worms. But I am sticking to that pattern all day Saturday for a win!! I'm determined.

When I got tired of catching them on the pink bubble gum drop shot on 4 lb line, I switched over to a carolina rigged spro frog through the hydrilla and slayed em.

Oh yeah I forgot about the Carolina rigged spro frog pattern. That will be my back up pattern for sure.
