LOL your probably right, his silence speaks volumes, that's what I don't understand if I was bringing something new to market ya couldn't shut me up Id want everyone to ask questions yet all he's doin is avoiding questions like he's hiding something.I could be wrong maybe China has found a SUPERPLASTIC (better than metal) we'll see. I will say if he does get parts he'll have a gold mine theres a lot of broken reels with the same design that parts aren't available for just ask reel repair people how many they have seen. Didn't ABU tarnish their good name with Chinese BCX, profits over quality

If you have a bunch of old reels with metal gears and parts, I'd suggest holding on to them or buy them up off ebay. Plastic is the in thang especially if it's made in China.

if I was bringing something new to market ya couldn't shut me up How is that different from now? It's a frik'n reel for pete's sake. It's not like you have to get a bank loan to try one. If it doesn't hold up to use TC will hear about that pretty quick.

Jeff is probably not going to answer any of your questions because no matter what he says you will complain about it . Team Catfish is not going to put out junk.

All of my BS coulda been avoided if he woulda answered my first question on page 1 of this,(other than "just enough to make it work properly") Exactly what parts are made of plastic ?

I doubt Jeff has time to worry about you this week! I bet he is in Vegas this week with most other people in the industry of bringing products to the fishing market! If you have not heard I-Cast is there this week! Maybe you should go there and ask all the compaines your questions and tell them how to build a reel! Or maybe you could just design one yourself, bring it to market and have some dude on a forum try and tear it down just because!

Not going to dog on the reel anymore but the only thing I would half to say is
1. The line capacity is ****. Needs to hold more for us bank fishermen.
2. The price. I was thinking that it would be high at 50 but then it turns out to be 139. On sale for 100.
Other then that I would like to see have the work out.

Believe it or not some plastic pcs wear better than metal and some plastic replaces what could be metal cause it is sometimes better to sacrifice one piece to save several other pcs.

Looks good. The schematic and parts list seem pretty rock solid. Can't wait to try one.
