I agree with 9094, come out to west Texas and see what we have to contend with. No ramps and shallow water and no I would not live in east Texas, been there and done that. Were just one day away from a flood and then we will have a lot of salt cedars to fish.

I hate it for all of us that are on the water. Those people don't understand what is happening to our lakes and they don't care. Lavon is 6-7 foot low and if its a bad summer then I see it dropping lower than it did 2 years ago (13.75') and that won't be good.

Pray for rain!!

I work in the irrigation industry and I can promise you that the "rich folk" and commercial properties don't get a pass. They may water when they want and pay the fines, but they don't get a pass. If they refuse after fines they have their meter shut off. Your comments are riddled with emotion and little understanding of the condition we are in.

I have spent the past 50 years spitting in their mouths...increasing the size of Texas fish with every spit!

It's not just Lake Fork, I would say over 85% of the lakes in Texas are low and have been for years. All the lakes around Waco are at least 7 ft. down.

June 12 the level was 398.51 (-4.49 feet ) at the dam. Today at 11:00 398.07 (-4.93 feet ) at the dam. Per SRA web site. Looks like a long dry summer instore.

Thanks JC Outdoors for the SRA update...

Evaporation.

These 100 degree days take a toll. Has nothing to do with peoples lawns, City of Dallas or the Illuminati.

Cameron is dead on! And we are bless that's all we are down right now, there's a lot worst case's of low water level on other lakes.Since I have been fishing Fork since the water that is 30 ft deep now was only 5 to 6 ft back in the day, from LFM to the 515 bridge I feel a little better about it. flagBe Safe!!!
