The other day it was a very earling morning fishing around trophy club park. Something large was swimming on top of water maybe 3 to 4 feet long with eyes glowing from the light. Gator??? Beaver??? Lochness Monster??? I cannot for the life of me figure out what it was. Anyone seen this same phenomenon???

Haha. I know there was a gator spotted up the creek a couple years ago. It's possible. I figure pretty much every major body of water is likely to have at least one gator near by.

they are all skinny little things in g-vine...but they do put up a fight!

there are a ton of beavers in there, and they love to swim up to your kayak and stare you down

They will also slap there tail and splash the hell out of ya if there in a bad enough mood:)

As far as I know, there are many rumors of gators in Grapevine, but I have not heard a single substantiated one. What you saw was probably a beaver. There are a LOT of them in Denton Creek near the lake, and they are very active around daybreak and dark...and all night.

There are definitely gators in gvine. I have seen them plenty of times. Although there are some big beavers as well.
