Got on Lake at Day Light ..Started out fishing Timber in 9ft.. Bite was slow caught a few keepers mostly Dinks .. Bounced out to some timber in 12 ft of water At this time it was 8:30 am .. Not a single bite .. Even tried some of my go to trees .. Nothing .. Remind you last Saturday it was a different pattern Bam bam bam at every peace of Timber I pulled up To .. So I decided to go to Pylons were I ran into Tex Boxer and his wife along with a arsenal of other Boats .. By this time it's 10 am .. Looked like everybody Was getting one here one there .. I caught 3 nice pole binders .. Then something dawned on me .. Go try the Bp I have caught fish on in mouth of south Bosque .. Maybe there's still some late spawners etc hanging out .. Guess what it was on .. My hummingbird was lite Up when I hit the mouth of the s bosque .. Pulled up to the Bp I've had good luck with .. Bp was in 12 ft At this time I Had 5 keepers on live well .. Time was 11 am... I hadn't had them hit my line like they did sence spawn ..
Did catch more Dinks than keepers but had a blast .. Ended up with 11 nice keepers off that bp and through back At least 15 dinks in 2 hours .. Total for the Day 16 .. Pictures coming soon .. Living for the thump and Living the Dream .. Go get ya some ..

By the way... It wasn't the pylons where you saw us first... We were fishing a brushpile we had marked with a floating marker. Now if you'd like to tell the rest of that story, be my guest. ![rolfmao rolfmao](/forums/images/graemlins/default/roflmao.gif)

I told you I caught them all yesterday! You left some on the tree. wife and I caught 9 keepers off that one tree. Came home with 23 today. It was tough out there today. the fish got lockjaw around 8 this morning and even before then it was hit and miss on the pylons. On timber the preferred depth was 10-12 FOW, and the pylons the only depth we caught them on was 12-15 FOW.

Do you think the lack of "bite" is air-temp related, post-spawn, or just plain not biting cus they are Crappie?
Crappie, the other white meat!

They are always biting somewhere, just have to find them. Right now has been stick and move, pick up 3-4 per tree or timber.

Good info Thomas .. Same thing with Bp .. Pick a few and move .. Sept might get lucky on one.. Remember crappie chace bait too .. They will Come back to structure eventually .. Also the 3 or 4 You pick off. Are usually the aggressive ones ...
