Cooler weather is upon us (finally) and that means it's time to hit the banks!

Also, since I first started the fishing map as my own personal map in 2009, and then published it here on TFF shortly after, it's grown by leaps and bounds, thanks to the interest and support its received here.

Well, after a little over 4 years, we're almost at the 1 million hit mark, which I'm sure we'll reach sometime this fall.

gotcha man! Prayers sent for the young couple! Got two cousins to be married soon, and an one just got married a little while ago. i guess its that time of year.

Anybody fish the pond in back of the Toyota of Lewisville ball parks? I was there the other night and didn't know what the hell I was doing, but managed to get a bit on a buzz frog.

Yes, there are all kinds of fish in there. Big lmb, lots of other stuff too. When the Trinity floods, it floods those ponds.

Have fished #55 Colleyville Nature Center a couple of times, one of the ponds has had fish plopping the surface each time, swirls and baitfish scattering, have caught 3 young largemouths using a topwater and small worms. It is beautiful and almost no one fishing when I have been there during the week, It is fun but don't look for and SALs

There used to be a mud puddle in that parking lot that held fish.

No, actually, not sure what happened on that one. Looks like I may have fat-fingered a key at some point and accidentally moved it. In any case, I was unable to locate where the pin belonged, so I deleted the spot.

Well, thanks to all the great spots you guys have posted here over the past several years, the Texas Google Bank Fishing Map has received a lot of traffic.

This month the map had it's 1 millionth visitor!!!

I started this map as my own personal bank fishing map in 2010 for Lake Lewisville and some area ponds that I fish. After awhile I decided to make it public on Google, but it wasn't until I mentioned it here that things really started taking off.

Now 3-1/2 years later, the map has 267 bank fishing spots all over the state of Texas.

In honor of the 1 millionth hit, free bait for everyone!

Spot 113 - Rowlett Creek is wrong. The creek marked is Muddy Creek. Rowlett Creek is the creek to the west.

Nothin near Austin Great city, yet so few fishing spots!!! Gotta go North to Round Rock, south to Buda or east to Bastrop for some good stuff
