Kids and sandbass go together like peaches and cream. When couples come out to out lakehouse with young un's, I always try to get em on those white bass. 8" or 16 doesn't matter as long as they bite fast.

Cooked this bad boy using The Blackened Striper recipe. My wife loved it and she barely tolerates crappie! I have to admit it was very good. This is a good thing, as now I can make real good use of these stripers without resorting to beer batter.

I'm glad to hear the lake is doing well again. I haven't fished it much at all the last couple of years (2 new babies and no water under the dock make it a little harder).
Does anybody know what the ash and new algae does to the Golden Algae? Hopefully it will help support the blue/green algae and keep the golden levels down for a while.
