Dan we can make it Sunday the 29th if we need too. I just figured Saturday would be a good day. There has to be a partner out there somwhere for you Jody! This really was a lot of fun. Puts less stress on each indivual to perform well knowing they have a partner to back them up.

Nathan, Joe thinks he has a better chance if its Sunday, but honestly he doesn't know if he is working Saturday, or Sunday.

I don't care which spot y'all choose, but if you want more east spots...I have some. Check out Ken Good Park in Carrollton. It has 2 nice size ponds right next to each other, and I have caught bass up to 6 lbs out of it. Just a suggestion...it should easily accommodate at least 20 anglers...and of course, I would have home field advantage.

Lol yeah Joel just told me who you were. I have a hard time keeping up with everyone's screen names/names. basstoes you might make that suggestion to Joel for the East tournaments. Since this is just a trial event for the Team Trails I'd liek to keep it at place everyone is familiar with and that is fairly well known. You East guys will have an advantage at White Rock most of the West guy have never fished it (I've only fished it once).

I've never fished it either, but anything closer than Ft Worth sounds good to me. I will suggest the other location at the next tourney. Thanks.

Now when we start this up for real next year we can take those ponds into consideration! You've never fished White Rock either? Might be a pretty even playing field then. But most all of the regulars on the East side had fished it. I enjoyed it when I went but it was a super windy day and it had all the fish up shallow chasing the shad around.

I've been fishing from my buddy's boat for the last few years. Lost him last year, and we sold the boat. Was only fishing local ponds when we weren't at the lake. Only recently been broadening my horizons as far as bank fishing...so yes, for me, almost everything around D/FW from the bank is very new territory. I will soon be a force to be reckoned with from the bank...just kidding. I do plan on testing Bethany out before the next tourney, just to have an idea of what it looks like though. If anybody goes out there next week or weekend, give me a shout if you want some company.

Ive been fishing from both the bank and a boat since I was about 5. I've got plenty of experience in both. But I hear ya. Fishing from the bank is a whole different animal. The one key I have learned that holds true no matter where you go is to never stay in one spot too long. Unless of course you have found some kind of hot spot and are catching them every few casts. Other than that though moving around to different spots is the key most of the time.
