Hey guys looks like the line is doing good. I think I got some tricks up my sleeve for that clear water. I am making a new color of line right now in the braid. Maybe it will help in that clear water. Should be in the market place about 15 or so days.

Yup I'm working on a twisted line. And also a different kind of braid you will see soon. No body has ever tried it yet. BoneHead will be the first. We will se very very soon my friends.

Yea, Tbox saved the day, I had so much stuff in my truck, I couldn't get to my pole/tackle without a major undertaking....so he KINDLY provided a loaner...but I can't discuss the relative merits/shortcoming of THE LINE yet...here is the problem, I wuz using one of them pro angler rods (instead of my Uglies), with orange 12 lb bonehead braid, a leader, and a bassackwards reel handle....I could feel the fish VERY WELL (was it the braid or the pro angler, OR BOTH?) I kept breaking that leader so I can't tell how strong that 12 lb braid is compared to that 20 lb stuff I use....plus, when I caught a fish i was so busy figuring out how to reel that handle with the wrong hand that I couldn't discuss the fighting feel...plus ole Net Boy Jr. kept netting my fish, so I couldn't test the ole "Heave Ho" into the boat strength. Being the nice guy that I am (quit laughing Piscatur) I even netted ONE of his fish (would have probably done more, but I DON'T even think about a net, since I don't carry one. I mean hey, a net for a crappie, REALLY????

Now, my BIGGEST problem...I was provided some of the 12lb YELLOW to test at night, and I haven't got to try it out under the green LEDs without a leader and with the Ugly/Shimano (controlled test) that I am used to vs the 20 lb braids that I just love. Most of you know I had to be COERCED into using anything OTHER than 20 lb braid...He offered me some of the 20 lb green, if I would TRY the 12lb, then threw in some other cool stuff...I assume JUST to ENSURE I would really test that 12 lb stuff....and YES, I told him "no thanks" on the 12 lb stuff once or twice...BUT a deal is a deal....so be looking for my ASSESSMENT of that 12 lb stuff....

But, my FIRST thought about the Bonehead Tackle is about the OWNER...This GUY IS SERIOUS about getting his tackle RIGHT and ON THE FAST TRACK. He has GENEROUSLY provided tackle for FORUM MEMBERS TO TEST for feedback purposes... Plus, he has discussed various issues with me (ole doubting thomas) regarding the makeup of the line that most folks would quickly sidestep. More Importantly...his back room SHIPPING is FIRST RATE...got the stuff SO FAST....I WONDERED if he DROVE IT OVER himself. So far, that is all I can report. In summation, the owner is serious about producing a first rate product and his response time is outstanding.

Bet Tbox and Dutch would be happy to test that clear water stuff out; hopefully, they will catch fish with it and won't be compelled to use a leader...
